1.The short version

  • Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you aren’t charged.
  • Changed your mind after paying? You get your money back within 14 days of the first payment of a new subscription, monthly or yearly.
  • Renewals aren’t refunded unless the law requires it, but you can cancel anytime. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Charged twice or by mistake? We always refund it in full.
  • To ask for a refund, contact us with the topic “Billing or account” and your order number.

2.Who handles your payment

Our checkout is run by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle sells the subscription to you, takes the payment, adds sales tax or VAT where your country requires it, and sends your receipts and invoices. Refunds are paid by Paddle, too.

Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply to your purchase alongside this policy. Where this policy gives you more, for example the 14-day money-back guarantee below, we ask Paddle to honour it.

3.Free plan and free trials

The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card, so there is nothing to refund.

Starter, Pro and Business start with a 7-day free trial. You add a payment method at checkout, and the first charge happens only when the trial ends. Cancel before then, from Billing in your account, and you aren’t charged at all.

4.14-day money-back guarantee

If you aren’t happy, ask within 14 days of the first payment of a new subscription and we’ll refund that payment in full. This covers monthly and yearly plans. If you started with a free trial, the 14 days count from the first charge after the trial.

When we refund your first payment, we also cancel the subscription, so your account moves to the Free plan. Your account stays open.

5.Renewals and cancelling

Subscriptions renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Billing in your account. Cancelling stops all future renewals, and you keep your paid features until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Renewal payments aren’t refunded, except where the law requires it (see the next section) or the charge was a mistake.

6.EU, EEA, UK and Swiss customers

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have a legal right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.

Pagestro is a digital service you can use straight away. At checkout, Paddle asks you to agree that your subscription starts immediately. Under consumer law, once you’ve agreed to that and started using the paid features, your right to withdraw can end early. Our 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment applies either way.

Paddle’s own policy adds to this. For example, UK customers get a new 14-day window when a yearly subscription renews. You can use these rights through the link in your Paddle receipt or at paddle.net, or by contacting us.

7.Mistakes and duplicate charges

If you were charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged in error in any other way, tell us and we’ll refund the wrong charge in full, whatever its date.

8.Changing plans

Upgrades start right away. You pay only the difference for the rest of your current billing period, charged at the time of the upgrade.

Moving to a smaller plan or from yearly to monthly billing doesn’t give you a refund to your card. Paddle works out the unused value of your current plan and takes it off your next payments instead.

9.How to ask for a refund

Either way works:

  • Send us a message on the contact page. Choose the topic “Billing or account”, use the email address of your Pagestro account, and include the order number from your Paddle receipt.
  • Use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or look up your order at paddle.net.

You’ll find all your payments and invoices in Billing in your account.

10.How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used, through Paddle, including any tax you paid. They usually show within 5–10 business days. Paddle processes approved refunds within 14 days, and some banks take longer to show the money.

Please talk to us before asking your bank for a chargeback. While a chargeback is open, Paddle may pause access to the subscription.

11.Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Changes don’t take away a refund you were already entitled to. Our Terms of service cover subscriptions in more detail.
