Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code
Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Pagestro
Let your own assistant read your documents and, when you allow it, send invoices and signature requests for you.
Server URL
https://pagestro.com/api/mcpPaste it into your assistant, then sign in to Pagestro and click Allow. Needs the Pro or Business plan.
What the connector does
Pagestro has an MCP server: a standard way for assistants to use an app’s features. Once connected, your assistant can look things up in your account and act on it, using the tools listed below.
Pagestro uses no AI
The assistant is your own. It is run by its own company (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT) under that company’s terms and privacy policy, not by Pagestro.
You sign in and approve
You connect with your Pagestro sign-in and choose what it may do. Your password is never shared with the assistant.
Pro or Business plan
Each tool call counts as one API call toward your plan’s monthly allowance (see Pricing), with at most 120 calls a minute per account.
Set it up
Use the server URL https://pagestro.com/api/mcp everywhere.
Claude
claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the mobile apps
- 1Open Customize › Connectors and click Add custom connector.
- 2Name it Pagestro, paste the server URL and click Add.
- 3Click Connect, sign in to Pagestro and click Allow.
Team and Enterprise
An Owner adds the connector once in Organization settings › Connectors. Each member then clicks Connect and signs in with their own Pagestro account.
Don’t add Pagestro with an API key in a request header for your organization. Every member would then use the Owner’s Pagestro account.
Once Pagestro is listed in Claude’s connector directory, you’ll be able to find it there instead of pasting the URL.
ChatGPT
chatgpt.com and the desktop app
- 1Open Settings › Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- 2Go to Plugins, click +, then Create MCP App.
- 3Name it Pagestro, paste the server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
- 4Create it, sign in to Pagestro and click Allow.
Developer mode depends on your ChatGPT plan, and in a workspace on your admin. Once Pagestro is listed in ChatGPT’s plugin directory, steps 1 to 3 go away: you’ll pick Pagestro from Plugins.
Claude Code
Run this once in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user pagestro https://pagestro.com/api/mcp
Then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose pagestro and sign in in the browser window that opens. --scope user makes it available in all your projects.
Scripts and other apps (API key)
For scripts, and for apps that can’t do the Pagestro sign-in: create a key in Account › API & MCP and send it as Authorization: Bearer pgs_…. To test it:
curl -s https://pagestro.com/api/mcp -H "Authorization: Bearer $PAGESTRO_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"initialize","params":{"protocolVersion":"2025-11-25","capabilities":{},"clientInfo":{"name":"curl","version":"1"}}}'
curl -s https://pagestro.com/api/mcp -H "Authorization: Bearer $PAGESTRO_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" -H "MCP-Protocol-Version: 2025-11-25" -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":2,"method":"tools/list"}'The 17 tools
This is everything an assistant can do in your account. Tools marked “Emails people” send real emails, so Pagestro tells the assistant to confirm the recipients with you first.

Get QR scan stats
Readsget_qr_code_statsScans, unique visitors, recent days, devices and countries for one code.
Security and your data
Sign-in uses OAuth: the assistant gets its own access, never your password. Access lasts an hour and renews itself while you use it; a connection unused for 90 days ends. Read more in our privacy policy and on the Security page.
What it can see
Your plan and usage, saved contracts, invoices and email designs, signature requests with their signers and audit trail, and your QR codes with their scan stats. What it reads goes to the company that runs your assistant and is handled under its terms and privacy policy.
What it can’t do
It can’t delete anything, change your password, settings or billing, or open files in the PDF and image tools: those never leave your browser.
You confirm before anyone is emailed
Pagestro tells your assistant to check the recipients with you before it sends an invoice or a signature request. Claude and ChatGPT normally ask your permission before they use a tool that makes changes; you can change that in their settings.
Changes are recorded
Connecting, disconnecting and every change or email made through the connection are recorded. Your most recent security events appear in Settings › Security, and we email you whenever an assistant is connected.
Your choice, any time
On the sign-in screen you can untick “Allow changes and sending” for read-only access. Disconnect any assistant in Account › API & MCP. Changing your password disconnects all of them.
Keys are passwords
An API key, or a connector address that contains one (older set-ups ending in /api/mcp/k/…), opens your account. Keep it private, give each app its own key, and revoke it in Account › API & MCP if it leaks.
Things to ask
Talk to your assistant in plain words. It looks up the right document or code first, then acts on it.
- “Which of my invoices are overdue?”
- “Send the “Website redesign” invoice to anna@example.com.”
- “Who still needs to sign the NDA I sent last week?”
- “Send my freelance contract for signature to Sam Lee, sam@example.com.”
- “Mark invoice INV-0042 as paid.”
- “Write a short launch email for our spring sale and save it to Pagestro.”
- “Point the menu QR code to https://example.com/autumn-menu.”
- “How many scans did the flyer QR code get this month, and from which countries?”
Troubleshooting
The Allow button is greyed out
Connecting an assistant needs the Pro or Business plan. Upgrade on the Pricing page, then go back to your assistant and connect again.
It says the request expired
The Pagestro sign-in screen is valid for 30 minutes and can be used once. Go back to your assistant and start connecting again.
My assistant can read but not send
It was connected with read-only access. Disconnect it in Account › API & MCP, then connect again and leave “Allow changes and sending” ticked.
It asks me to sign in again
The connection ended: you disconnected it, changed your password, didn’t use it for 90 days, or connected more than 25 assistants (the one unused longest is disconnected). Connect it again.
It says the monthly limit is reached
Each tool call counts as one API call toward your plan’s monthly allowance. The count starts again on the 1st of each month (UTC). Sends also count toward your invoice and signature request limits. You can see your usage in Account › API & MCP.
Claude Code doesn’t show pagestro in other projects
It was added for one project only. Run the command again with --scope user, then check with claude mcp list.
My app can’t complete the Pagestro sign-in
Sign-in works with apps that return to a web address or to localhost on your computer. For other apps and scripts, create an API key in Account › API & MCP and send it as Authorization: Bearer pgs_….
